The third stage of the Silkroad Rally takes us to a country full of contrasts, rich history and breathtaking landscapes: Iran. After driving through Turkey we reach Tehranthe vibrant capital, before continuing into the untouched nature of the Golestan National Parks goes. These 3-4 days are a perfect mix of urban adventure and impressive wilderness.

Tehran: The heart of modern Iran

Tehran is not only the political and economic center of the country, but also a city full of culture and history. Between bustling bazaars, modern skyscrapers and historic palaces, you can experience Iran at its most diverse.

Must-sees in Tehran:

• Milad Tower - Breathtaking view of the city and the Alborz Mountains

• Golestan Palace - a UNESCO World Heritage Site with Persian splendor

• Big bazaar - the perfect place to experience the hustle and bustle and the Persian art of trading

After an intensive stay in the city, the rally takes us further east - into one of the country's most beautiful natural landscapes.

Golestan National Park: Iran's wild north

The Golestan National Park is the oldest and one of the most biodiverse national parks in Iran. Here, in the foothills of the Alborz Mountains, dense forests, vast steppes and fascinating wildlife await us. It is an impressive backdrop for a rally stage that takes us through untouched nature.
